About Me

Desaree is a native of Charleston , South Carolina . In 2019 , she was motivated to learn how to sew and do embroidery, something she had a longed to do for years. Desaree purchased her first embroidery machine ( a Brother SE 600 )and began learning how to do both. Three months later , she purchased a second machine a Brother PE 800. She now owns a 2 Ricoma commercial multi needle machines along with other products , a heat press and a designer cutting machine to enhance DBD products. All DBD purchases are made with a very high level of quality.

Growing up, Desaree has found memories of peeking over the shoulders of her mom and aunts, who were part-time seamstress. Because of their talents. Desaree was always the recipient of many dresses and skirts made by her mom, and she loved her one-of-a-kind outfits. Even now Desaree loves to ooh and aww over customer designed items and what she considers to be "made with love".

Over the years, Desaree's family and friends have always complimented her on her crafting projects and designs. In college I taught myself how to knit blankets, and shared my love and appreciation to family and friends by gifting them with handmade blankets.

Desaree graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and she has Master of Business. In addition to owning and operating DBD Embroidery, she has worked full-time in the banking and finance industry for over 25 years. Desaree is happily married and has three children and they reside in North Charleston, SC.
